My illustration says it best. I’m seriously upset with our president, our government and the lack of affordable health insurance in this country. We protest and he just laughs and mocks us. 😤

As a single woman, running my own business - I get my healthcare through the marketplace. With the affordable care act, my health insurance is currently about $700 a month. 😣 Which is already ridiculous for one person. I need it. I have Crohn’s disease and had breast cancer 3 years ago which both leave me on maintenance medication that would be 1000’s a month without insurance not to mention all the tests and scans I need yearly.

Without the ACA, in 2026 my health insurance is expected to double. 😳🤯😡 Yes, more than my mortgage payment. As a single woman owned business, how will I afford this amongst the other rising costs!?🙏🏻🙏🏻 Share if you’re in the same boat. Something has got to give! How is this making America great!?!? Many local owned businesses like myself are going to be forced to go get a traditional job and shut down our entrepreneurial dream because let’s face it, healthcare would be much cheaper for me if I just flipped burgers. (Not knocking those jobs, I worked at McDonald’s when I was 15!) I’m just shaking my fist and flipping a finger to our government.
